As Italians grow up, wine is a constant presence at their table: it might be only a simple local wine, made by local farmers, but it is never missing. Over the course of the last twenty years though, wine culture has changed at a rapid pace, even in Italy. The younger generation might not have wine along with every meal, but they have it with their aperitivo, which is increasingly replacing a proper dinner. Italian wine has never been as interesting or as versatile as it is today, with many different styles and both local as well as international grape varieties. With our selection of wines we want to bring you our slice of Italy and our favorite producers – some famous, others less so, but all nonetheless interesting, because the world of wine, and Italian wine in particular, is like a treasure hunt that surprises the curious and adventurous with hidden gems that are always a joy to discover!
