Overlooking the Adriatic Sea, right in the heart of the Conero Natural Park, this small winery has dedicated itself almost exclusively to the local red, called Rosso Conero. The DOC for this wine allows for blending Montepulciano and Sangiovese, which Lanari does for its basic wine, whilst preferring to make a 100% varietal wine from the cru grapes. Montepulciano can be considered “the Barbera of the south” and gives wines that are fruity and relatively simple.
