Liberty Ale

Anchor Brewing (San Francisco, CA)
"The yeast used during fermentation produces many of Liberty Ale's subtle flavors and characteristics. A natural process called "bunging" creates gentle carbonation, and the practice of dry hopping (adding fresh hops to the brew during aging), revived by Anchor, creates its unique aroma." They have been brewing this IPA since '75. They most certainly got it figured out. Definitely on the "buy regularly" list. I attended a get together at the Anchor Brewery in SF years back. got to look around a little but unfortunately, it was back when I was a "non-drinker". "Regrets, I've had a few ..." ABV 5.9%, 30 IBU Hops: Cascade Malt: Two-row Pale
